ADERINTO SEGUN Popularly known as SEGUN DESTINY, He a native of Oyo State, Ogbomosho. He attended Lizzy Nursery and Primary School at Sango Ibadan, he further with his Secondary School at Sango High school now Humani Alaga. From there he proceeded to National Teachers Institute (NTI). Segun Destiny also attended Agricultural Education in Emmanuel Alayande College of Education.
Talks about his talents. Segun Destiny spoke with the Dfantom Correspondence Oluwatimilehin Oniti about his rising musical career.

How did you start your music career?

My music career started in my local church. A brother in the church encouraged me to join the choir group which I adhered to. As time goes on my God given talent surfaced.

How and when did your Nick name ‘SegunDestiny’ showed up?

People started to call me Segun Destiny after I released my first album titled ‘Destiny’ in the year 2010.

How would you describe your music?

If I was to describe my music, I would say it is inspirational, encouraging and life changing.

What is your favorite song to perform and which year?

A track in an album titled “Great Grace” I released in the year 2012

What drew you in the music industry?

I noticed that I could compose song with ease there after I was supported and guided by a brother called Tosin.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

What are your challenging moments?

My first album project, is got to a time that I was so rich that I had to sell some of my electronics to complete the project and secondly there was a time I traveled to Lagos for a ministration on getting to Lagos, my phone was snatched by some boys and this make it difficult for me to get to my destination.

What is the best advice you’ve been giving and by who?

Remain focused; don’t get distracted by the crowd. This advice was given to me by L/Evang Wunmi Babalola
